Rating:
Overall the projector is very nice; I'd say it's the best bang for the buck currently.

Overall the projector is very nice. I use it to display on a 150" screen. It's super quiet in normal power consumption mode (which is where I always run it). The lumens are great, plenty of shiny brightness for my theater room (which is very well ambient light controlled).

The pre calibrated color mode settings are decent. I haven't found that "perfect" setting for most movie/gaming scenarios yet (tweaking with brightness, color, tint, sharpness, hdr, etc) - no guides out there that I found, so I just calibrate it by eye for now. Being able to adjust the lens via the remote is great, so easy to tweak everything to get it perfectly projected onto the screen.

It's not true 4k and it shows a bit, but so does the price point compared to a true 4k projector. I'd say it's the best bang for the buck currently until the market gets more true 4k friendly and affordable or maybe 8k. ;)

Great Product and Great Support

The picture quality, i.e., contrast, sharpness, color depth are truly remarkable. Installation (mounting) was easy and the mounting components are very ample. My only complaint is that the Epson menus / sub-menus are not organized very intuitively. For example, it took me quite a while to find the keystone adjustment. The only aspect I'm still trying to fix is that disturbing panning-scene "shudder". I'm not sure if the Frame Interpolation feature addresses this or just quick-motion sports scenes for example. I'm all about "saving trees", but a printed manual would have been most helpful. The full online manual is a better environmentally sound option, but I would have liked and benefited from a quick, basic settings set-up printed manual.

Moreover, ProjectorScreen.com's pre-sale support, and post-sale tech support are fantastic! It was so refreshing to speak with US-based, English-speaking representatives. Foreign tech support (poor english, speaking from scripts, not listening well to customers, etc., is a pet-pieve of mine).
